1939 Ford 2-door sedan project car. This car was purchased a couple years back at the estate auction of the fellow who had owned it since 1964. At the time of his purchase in 1964 the fellow swapped in a small block Chevy (we think a 283) and using a period transmission adapter mated the Chevy motor to the original Ford manual trans. He got a good start on this project but never finished hooking up the motor as far as wiring and such and the car was placed in a shed all those many decades ago and you can see it in some of the images it still under the shed at the time of purchase from his estate. We would strongly wager the motor needs a rebuild after all those years or simply swap in another small block. Some rust in the usual places but not extreme. The headlights, some side trim and some other parts are inside the car but no bumpers. Dash is intact as are the seats which are good cores to recover. Rolls and steers fine for easy loading. A cool project car in all respects with a clear title.
